- Accreditation
- The Chartered Institute of Business Accountants (CIBA) is a SAQA-accredited professional body (Professional Body ID 874). That means the training you complete through us carries real weight in the profession and supports your journey toward recognised practice status.
- When you successfully pass the final exam, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion issued by CIBA. About the module
This module forms part of the core knowledge requirements for an accountant in practice and supports the upskilling criteria for applying as a Chartered Business Accountant in Practice via CIBA’s Route 3. Auditing II builds on foundational auditing concepts, with a strong focus on the practical application of auditing standards, professional judgement, and ethical conduct in a business context.Module purpose
This module equips students with a solid understanding of key auditing concepts and practical application of auditing principles within a real-world business environment. Students will develop the essential knowledge and skills required in auditing theory and practice, including statutory requirements, professional guidelines, and auditing standards.
In addition, the module provides insight into the principles of corporate governance, statutory compliance, and the design and evaluation of internal controls across core business cycles, ensuring learners are prepared to apply auditing procedures confidently and competently in a professional context.

You will earn a certificate
