What will set you apart

By completing this course you will gain the following competencies

  • Practitioners who go into January with a plan will spend it advising clients and billing for that advice. You’ll leave able to:
  • build a 13-week cash forecast for a client
  • reprice transport-heavy clients before fuel costs rise
  • explain the mini budget in plain terms
  • plan provisional tax for clients who are short of cash
  • You’ll also learn to package cash-flow and distress advice as fixed-fee services. That way, the extra work January brings becomes work you’re paid for.

Description

Between 5 and 22 January 2027, most small business clients will feel three pressures at the same time. Fuel levy relief ends on 5 January, provisional tax returns are due on 22 January, and overdrafts are charged at prime 10.75% while customers take 90 to 120 days to pay. You usually get that call in the second week of January. In 2027 it’s likely to come from several clients in the same fortnight. This morning seminar gets you ready for it. In four practical sessions, speakers from Sage, BSharp, DataGrows and CIBA cover: building a 13-week cash forecast the mini budget and the provisional tax deadline using AI safely in your practice spotting clients in distress early while protecting your own fees Breakfast is served during a 40-minute networking break. The event is free for CIBA members, with or without a designation.
