U2Pro bursaries verification 2026/2027

Verify your bursary
What you need to do
Have these ready
- A certified copy of your South African ID or permanent residence permit, certified within the last three months.
- Your official academic record or transcript for your most recently completed year of study, showing all modules and marks.
- Proof of registration for the current academic year or, if you have graduated, your qualification certificate.
- Proof of your residential address, not older than three months.
- Your completed and signed bursary agreement.
- A motivation letter of one page at most.
If they apply to you, also upload:
- A signed affidavit confirming that you are unemployed and not studying.
- Proof of any other circumstances you would like us to consider, for example a household income under R350,000 a year (an NSFAS letter counts as proof), attending a no-fee school, being the first in your family to graduate, or having a disability.
Your commitment
Your bursary covers the full U2Pro programme fee of R12,000. It is not a loan, and if you complete the programme you pay nothing. To complete, you must work through all 26 sessions, pass every session quiz and submit the case study within 12 months of the date your access starts.
If you withdraw or do not complete the programme in time, you pay a contribution of R1,000 for each month you had access, up to a maximum of R12,000. The full rules are in the bursary agreement and the terms and conditions.
Every bursary place was one that another applicant also hoped for, so we are counting on you to see it through. In return, we support you all the way, with monthly live check-ins, written feedback on your case study, and a facilitator you can contact when you are stuck.
We use your information to verify your documents and administer your bursary, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and CIBA's privacy policy.
