Full Package: the Golf Day and both conference days

You can be busy for twenty years and still only own a job. PMC 2026 is three days on how small accounting practices win better work, charge more, cut the risks that end firms, and build something a buyer would actually pay for.

Serengeti Estates, Kempton Park · three days · 14 sessions · 10 CPD units

  • Conference, Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 November

Why the whole event

What would have to change for the practice you own today to become a R10 million business?

This is the whole event. Tuesday on the Signature Course with fifty other practice owners, then two full days of a programme built around one question, and an evening in between that CIBA curates from your own registration form.

R10 million is not a minimum turnover. For one accountant it means R10 million in annual fees. For another it means a practice somebody would pay R10 million to acquire. For another it means enough recurring income and management depth to stop being the bottleneck. The programme works for all three.

You do not have a capacity problem. You have a value problem.

Turnover tells you how busy you are. Valuation tells you what you actually built. Two conference days are built around four outcomes: make more, charge more, lose less, build value. Every session is built on one of them, and every session produces something you complete in the room and take home.

Four hours in a cart beside somebody who could become your next client, your outsourcing partner, or the person who buys your practice. Then two days working out what your practice is actually worth.

What you leave with

Four outcomes. Every session is built on one of them.

Fourteen sessions across the two conference days, and one A3 plan you write before you leave the room. CIBA emails it back to you after 90 days.

Make more

Win better work

Where the next R1 million comes from. Public-sector contracts, offshore work for United States firms, and the sectors about to need more accounting support than they have.

Charge more

Fix your pricing

Bring your fee book. Three real jobs get priced live on stage. You leave having repriced one of your own clients, with a date set for the conversation.

Lose less

Cut the real risks

Why SARS picked your client. What a professional indemnity claim actually costs. What happens when a staff member clicks the wrong link on a Friday afternoon.

Build value

Build something saleable

Real practices valued live on stage, then the assumptions changed so you watch the value move. Then an actual buyer says what they pay for and what they price at zero.

Who you will hear from

Practitioners, regulators and investigators. Not a keynote circuit.

Nobody on this programme is here to give a motivational talk. Every speaker is on stage because they have done the thing the session is about, and they have agreed to show their working.

Line-up

Speakers are invited and confirmed progressively. The line-up above is correct at publication and CIBA will update this page as each session is finalised. Where a seat is still being filled we have said so rather than left it blank.

The part you cannot get from a recording

Do not leave the networking to luck

When you register, you tell us what you are looking for and what you can offer. CIBA uses that to make deliberate introductions across all three days, through your golf pairing, table seating, lunches and the business exchange evening. At registration you receive MY PMC CONNECTIONS: three named people CIBA thinks you should meet, and why.

The Business Exchange evening

Wednesday evening is limited to 70 places and allocated from the business matching data, not first come first served. Full Package holders are prioritised. If that evening matters to you, register early and tell us on the form what you are looking for.

Your golf pairing

CIBA does not leave the pairings to chance. No four colleagues from the same firm in one group unless you ask for it, and a mix of member, supplier, potential partner and senior guest wherever we can manage it.

Who this is for

Come if any of these are true

  • Owners and partners of small and medium accounting practices
  • Tax and accounting practitioners, and practice managers
  • Senior staff being prepared for ownership or leadership
  • Accountants planning to start a practice
  • Firms looking to acquire another practice, and owners considering succession or sale
Want padel as well?

Golf runs 08:30 to 13:00 and the Padel Tournament starts at 14:00, so you can do both on the Tuesday. Padel is R800 and booked separately.

Before you book

Questions people actually ask

How many CPD units do I get?

Ten CPD units across the two conference days. The Golf Day does not carry CPD, because it is a networking and relationship day.

What does the Full Package save me?

The Golf Day is R1,400 and the conference is R2,250, so booking them separately costs R3,650. The Full Package is R3,000, which is R650 less.

Does this include the padel tournament?

No. Padel is a separate R800 ticket. Golf runs 08:30 to 13:00 and padel starts at 14:00, so you can do both if you book them together.

Do I need a handicap to play?

No. The Golf Day is about who you are paired with rather than what you shoot. Pairings are set by the CIBA business matching team from your registration form, and eight holes carry a sponsor activation.

How do I get into the Business Exchange evening?

Wednesday evening is limited to 70 places, allocated from the business matching data rather than first come first served. Full Package holders are prioritised, so register early and tell us on the form what you are looking for.

Where is it and is there accommodation?

Serengeti Estates in Kempton Park, about fifteen minutes from OR Tambo International. Accommodation options near the estate will be listed closer to the date.

Are the sessions recorded?

Sessions are recorded and made available to registered delegates afterwards. The live pricing surgery, the live valuations and everything that happens between sessions are not things a recording replaces.

Can I send a colleague instead if something comes up?

Yes. Name changes are free up to seven days before the event. Email wwdekock@myciba.org.

Can my firm be invoiced?

Yes. Email jgrimmer@myciba.org with the delegate names and your billing details and we will raise an invoice.
