Introduction
Accountants and finance executives play a critical role in upholding ethical standards, industry awareness, and professional responsibility while demonstrating technical expertise. Sustaining public trust and contributing to the economy requires ongoing professional development and a commitment to lifelong learning.
The Professional Readiness Programme (PRP) reinforces and evaluates key competencies essential for members applying for a CIBA Chartered Designation and for current designation holders maintaining professional standards. The PRP provides a structured way to review and evaluate essential professional competencies.
This programme for existing designation holders addresses three critical areas: Ethical Awareness, Environmental Awareness and Readiness for Responsibility — ensuring understanding of the broader impact on the profession.
Through this programme, members will engage in reflective learning, exploring real-world case studies to develop a deeper understanding of their professional role. By fostering a culture of lifelong learning, ethical decision-making, and professional accountability, this initiative confirms that CIBA-designated accountants are prepared to meet the challenges of a dynamic business environment while making a positive impact on their profession and community.
