- Assessment 1: Case Study (50 mark)
- Assessment 2: Create dashboard using the case scenario (50 marks)

Summative Assessment
Develop a comprehensive data storytelling solution using Power BI for 100 marks
- Problem statement – 20 marks
- Data collection and cleaning- 20 marks
- Dashboard – 35 marks
- Interpretation & recommendations – 15 marks
- Video presentation – 10 marks
Programme Pass Rate
To successfully complete this programme, learners must achieve an overall pass mark of 50%.
Admission criteria
Qualification requirement: Hold a minimum of NQF Level 7 or higher. NQF 7 is typically a degree in accounting or similar.
Employment: Currently employed in the finance or accounting sector. Employer confirmation is required. Here is an example of a letter of proof.
Equipment: Access to a laptop or other electronic device for duration of program.
Email account: Email with safeguarded access.
Wifi connection: Strong and stable internet access for duration of program.

Application submissions close on 29 March 2025 and no late applications will be accepted. The application should be submitted in one sitting. You will not be able to save mid-way.
Required Supporting Documentation
The following supporting documentation must be uploaded:
- Proof of Identity: A certified copy of your ID or a certified copy of your passport document. The date of the certification should be after 1 January 2025. Need help with certifying documents? Then join our Commissioner of Oaths for an online session on 28 March 2025 at 12:00 here.
- Proof of Employment: Proof of employment must indicate that you are currently employed in the finance sector. Here is an example of a letter of proof.
- Learner Enrolment Form: Please complete the following enrolment form and upload on the application form: Enrolment form
- Highters Qualification: Highest qualification must be on a NQF Level 7 or higher
- CV: An Updated CV

In section A. Personal Information you will be required to insert an area code under a.23. Stats SA area code. Find your area code as listed on the FASSET Area Code listing here and insert it below. You can find your area code easily on the link provided as follows: (i) After you have opened the document press Ctrl+F to open the Find function. (ii) Insert your area name, the form will jump to relevant options, (iii) copy or write down the 2011-code by selecting Ctrl+C and (iv) paste it into section a.23. Stats SA area code.
