The squeeze

January is coming for your clients

You know the call. It usually comes in the second week of January, after hours: "My overdraft is maxed. Fuel has gone up again. And SARS wants how much?"

  • Fuel levy relief ends on 5 January, and every delivery your clients make costs more
  • Provisional tax returns are due on 22 January, often when cash is tightest
  • Overdrafts run at prime 10.75%, while customers take 90 to 120 days to pay

This breakfast gets you ready.

In 2027, that call lands in the same fortnight for most of your clients. The practitioners who are ready will spend January advising, and billing for it.
