A practical, plain-language programme in using AI across South African accounting and finance, from first principles to leading it at board level.
About this course
The AI Readiness Initiative for Accountants is CIBA’s complete AI programme for the profession, built for South African conditions. It runs across three levels: foundations for every practitioner, practical application across accounting workflows, and strategy and governance for finance leaders. SARS is expanding its own AI-driven verification, POPIA places the responsibility for client data on your firm, and clients now expect their accountant to use these tools well. The programme meets all three head on.
Whether you have never opened an AI tool or you are a CFO setting your organisation’s AI position, the programme builds from first principles and gives you frameworks, prompts and templates you can apply the same week. Every lesson ends with an interactive knowledge check.
